Big-O

f(n)=O(g(n))f(n) = O(g(n)) means there are constants c>0c > 0 and NN with f(n)≤c⋅g(n)f(n) \le c\cdot g(n) for all n≥Nn \ge N.

To prove a Big-O claim, you must choose the constants cc and NN and show the inequality holds from NN onward.
